For couples without a DJ or band
You're not hiring a DJ. Your music is still handled.
I build every playlist for your wedding by hand, in the right order, for every hour of the day. You press play and it runs.

The math
A wedding without a DJ still needs someone thinking about the music.
Most couples hire a DJ and the music becomes their problem. If you're not hiring one, it stays yours. Which hour needs energy, what plays while people find their seats, what carries dinner, what the night sounds like.
That's the part I do. Not a random playlist off a search, and not a list of songs you still have to put in order. A finished plan for your day, built by a person who does this all the time.
DJ and band averages from The Knot's 2026 Real Weddings Study. Good Songs is one payment, no hourly rate, no overtime.
Every hour of the day, in order.
Tell me what you're having and I build a playlist for each one, sequenced so it actually flows from one to the next.
Welcome party
The night before, when everyone finally lands and the room is loud and happy.
Cocktail hour
Warm, present, easy to talk over. Music that frames the room instead of occupying it.
Dinner
Under the conversation, not over it. Nobody notices the music and everybody feels it.
The rest of the night
Built by hand for a room with no DJ running it, so the energy goes where you want it.
Also rehearsal dinner, bridal shower, and next-day brunch if you're having them. Up to seven in total.
How it works.
One
Tell me about your day
Pick your events and describe each one. The venue, the mood, who's in the room, anything you love and anything you never want to hear.
Two
I build them by hand
I go through your events personally and put every playlist together, in order, from a library I've spent years tagging song by song.
Three
Open in Spotify
Ready within 24 hours. Edit anything, add your own, and share with your venue and whoever's running the day.
One price, the whole weekend.
No hourly rate, no travel fee, no overtime.
- Up to seven playlists, one for every event you're having

Tell me anything you want changed and I'll rebuild it.
Hi, I'm MC.
I think life's best moments are the ones you spend celebrating with the people you love.
And I think a moment like that deserves music somebody chose on purpose, instead of whatever was easiest to put on.
That's the whole reason Good Songs exists.
I planned my own wedding in San Diego and spent hours building the playlists for every part of it. Then friends started asking me to do theirs, and I kept going, because it turns out this is the part I love. Behind Good Songs are thousands of songs I've tagged and organized by hand over years. When you order, I'm the one going through your events and choosing what plays.
If you're not hiring a DJ, the music is the thing most likely to get left until the last week. I'd rather you hand it to me.

Questions I get a lot.
Will it feel like something's missing without a DJ?
The music won't be what's missing. What a DJ also does is talk, so if you want announcements, ask a friend or your coordinator to handle those few moments. Everything that comes out of the speakers is covered.
How does it actually play at the wedding?
Your playlists live in Spotify. Whoever is running sound opens the right one at the right time and presses play. Bring the link, and download them offline in case the venue's signal is bad.
Can I change songs I don't like?
Yes. Everything is editable and you can add your own. Tell me what's wrong and I'll rebuild it, or change it yourself in Spotify in a few seconds.
What if we have specific songs we want?
Send them. Tell me what has to be in there, what you're sick of, and anything with a story attached, and I'll build around it.
How long does it take?
Within 24 hours of you describing your events. Most couples do this a few weeks out, though earlier is fine.
